Uncorked and Unplugged with Honest Labor

Music by Honest Labor. The original members of the trio are skilled tradesmen – Friar, a stonemason; Sauder, a blacksmith; Weaver, an upholsterer – and the band takes its name from their day jobs as well as their “honest and straightforward” approach to music. The group has been performing together for more than ten years, adapting other musical styles to their acoustic blues method.

Food by SAUCY SWINE-O'S

Pit Master - Rick Ballard: I grew up in a small town in Mississippi. I had a passion for cooking from an early age. It all started with learning to grill burgers and dogs in the backyard. My uncle bought me my first water smoker, I wasn't afraid to jump right in smoking meats like turkeys and ham around the holidays. I graduated to the to the dry offset smoker and continued smoking meats such as pork butts, brisket, and whole chickens, as well as ribs. It was a natural transition for me into competition BBQ with my love of smoking meat. I really enjoy cooking and trying to perfect every recipe I come up with!
