Rockbridge Vineyard
Tuscarora White 2002

Tuscarora, the name given to the hard sandstone forms the prominent ridges of the western Valley of Virginia. This name comes from the hemp-gathering nomadic Iroquois who lived here. We proudly use the name for our blended wines both red and white. They are regionally typical and are blends of both hybrid and vinifera grapes.

We have been making this and the Tuscarora Red since 1993 and they are both perfect as your house red and white.

Tasting notes:

This wine is zesty and fresh. It has delightful pineapple fruit, a touch of residual sugar (1.4%) and balancing acidity. It is a good wine to sip as you cook dinner or relaxing before dinner, or accompanying spicy Thai and Mexican cuisine.
