Production:
Composition: Vidal Blanc 92% Chardonnay 8%
Aging: fermented and aged sur lies 9 months in French oakTasting notes:
Grapefruit and pineapple fruit are layered with spicy oak and yeasty overtones which is carried across the palate by the good Vidal acidity to a long, satisfying finish. This wine is very flexible with food pairings, going from a cheese board to herbed grilled chicken. It stands up well to foods marinated in olive oil and has the complexity to compliment smoky flavors.
